Prize money is common for both Male & Female participants.

Prize Money Terms & Conditions

• All registered runners are eligible for prize money.
• For the fastest timing (Overall), there are no age brackets. Whoever completes the full race course and crosses the finish line will be awarded the cash prize.
• For Overall Top Winners, net time will be considered. Hence, potential winners should line up at the front of the start line:
  • Half Marathon – Top 3 Men & Women
  • 10K Run – Top 3 Men & Women
• For all age category winners, net timing is considered.
• Rankings are based on provisional timing and may change after due diligence in each race category.
• Prize money will be disbursed only via cheque or bank transfer.
• Prize money and bonus winnings are subject to applicable Indian Income Tax rules, which will be borne by the winner.
• Eligibility is also subject to:
  • Runners starting more than 15 minutes after the official start time will not be considered.
  • Bib tag timing must be captured at all timing mats, including start and finish.
  • Physical verification by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras.
• Athletes found interchanging bib numbers or timing chips will be disqualified and will not be entitled to timing or prize money.
• The Race Technical Officials’ decision is final.
• All rules are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers.
• Prize money will be disbursed after 21 days from the event date.
• Indian winners must submit a valid Government ID & PAN card for prize money release.
• International participants must submit required documents if they win prize money.
• Any discrepancies in results or e-certificates must be reported within 7 days of the race date by emailing kalingarunners@gmail.com with valid proof.
